Primarily raised in Germany, Steven Strauss first became interested in design while working for architectural and engineering firms in and around Munich. Returning to the United States in 1992, he completed a Professional Bachelor of Architecture Degree at the Southern California Institute of Architecture. In the years since, he has worked in the Los Angeles design office of a prestigious New York based interior design firm and has also worked on a number of freelance design projects. His designs are pragmatic and focus on function as an aesthetic.
The combination of these approaches to design creates an unique interplay between form and function to skillfully transform a space.
