Need more storage?

Not to get to technical but when you design a kitchen space is lost for things like face frames and drawer fronts. This differs depending on your design style. If you don't want to sacrifice space sometime doing a drawer within a drawer is a perfect solution.

When considering this, make sure the function of the two drawers work together. For example in this clients house we put a silverware drawer within a bowl/plate drawer. This works for the client because these are items most commonly used together. You wouldn't want to put something you use all the time with something you never use. The only way that works is if the top drawer are the items you use all the time and the bottom drawer you hardly ever use.
